Jake & Maddie Updates

Just some quick updates to record for our journal...

Jake got his fourth tooth yesterday. He is still working on a few more and is biting everything like a crazy man! He is saying dadadadadad -- it is his new favorite babble word. He still loves his Raggdy Andy in his room. He gives him the biggest smile in the mornings and attacks him with hugs and kisses. He is getting better and better at his scoot/crawl combo. It definitely gets him around fast and he is starting to get up on his hands and knees a little better. He also likes for you to help him stand, but he won't stay long -- he is always looking for the next thing to grab and explore. He is really starting to like "people" food and tries something new every day.

Maddie still loves school and ballet. She has a great imagination. Her teachers say she is going to be an actress because of her imagination and how much she loves to perform. She still likes her baby dolls, but they take a back seat now to playing dress up. She still puts Big Baby to bed every night in the guest room upstairs. She has her own bed with a blanket and pillow. Maddie gives her a bottle and sings to her, then puts her down for the night. Maddie also talks about her two sisters -- Gracemadee and Allah (no idea where those names came from).

We are going to Ruthie's 3rd birthday party today. She is having a Valentine's Birthday. We can't wait. We also found out recently that Ruthie is going to have a new brother or sister. YEA!!! Of course, we are so excited. What a fun familiy we will have here!! Now if we could only get mom, dad, Ashley & Jon to move here we would be set.
