Things have been pretty slow with the renovations lately. We are waiting on the electrical inspection (they forgot the permit, so they are trying to get the permit and inspection at the same time) and the framing inspection (some changes were done to the framing so we had to get some updates made to the engineering drawings). Once the framing and electrical inspections are done they can start on the drywall inside and stucco outside.
They have started pulling out the tiles in the kitchen/hallway/bath so it is a HUGE mess down there and we have no downstairs bathroom. The 80 year-old wood under the old floors looks like it has been through a lot! Hopefully they will finish getting all the tiles out today so they can lay the subfloor and begin the new tiles. At least that will feel cleaner for now:)
