At Stockton they have a running club. The kids count and track their miles during the school week. They ran 25 miles at school and ran the last mile of their marathon at the Shannon Miller Marathon. Maddie even got her picture taken with Shannon Miller (the olympic gymnast)...

The end of April is a big part of the year for the Jakester! He turned 5 this year!!!! He was treated like a king at school and home. Yay for Jacob!!!

Sam and some other guys for our Sunday School class entered the Doging for Diabetes dodgeball tournament. They didn't win, but they did pretty good!

Spring Break and Easter! Sam played Judas in a play at church (the kids loved giving him a hard time about being the bad guy). We had a relaxing week at home. It was nice to be able to just slow down for a week. We went over to Granny & Pop's house with the Ross/Haen clan. The kids had a wonderful time as always.

I've been doing a Bible Study called No Other Gods by Kelly Minter. It is a very good one that I would highly recommend!

Finally this month Sam celebrated his 40th birthday on the 13th! Happy birthday, Sam!
