Jake's 6-month Dr. Visit

Maddie & I took Jake to the doctor this morning for his 6-month check up. They said he is doing great. He weights 15 lb 9 oz (15th percentile) and is 28-1/4 inches long (90th percentile). He is long and thin, just like his sister -- although he doesn't look thin to me :) They said his head is still a little flat, but getting better. He is supposed to be eating morning, lunch and dinner solids along with his bottle. He is becoming such a big boy!

He had to get five shots, which he wasn't happy about. While we were there we went ahead and gave Maddie her flu shot. She was such a big girl -- she sat on the table and didn't even cry and wasn't scared at all. I am so proud of her!

Hi all, haven't checked your site in a while. Loved all the pictures. Maddie was beautiful on Halloween. Maybe you aren't feeding Jake enough if he has to eat his shoe. How are you getting the tall kids? Don't know what time your mom had surgery today, but will try to call her later. Andrew finished his 180 mile bike ride and had a blast. Was a little sore after the first day, but says he is fine today. Youth! Miss you guys. Love, Sharon and all
